Choosing to live in the present!

"Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift of God, which is why we call it the present."-Bill Keane

This quote is so simple to understand and very important to remember. It is my goal in life to be grateful for my time and treat my time as the greatest present from God.
I try to live from this place each and every moment of my life and that's how time management  became my life's work.

It helps us to remember that "yesterday is history"  and it is our past which we can't change. Knowing and accepting that past is in the past- leaves us with more room for today.  Choosing to consciously live in the present today encourages us to focus more in what we need to do today, and hopefully it allows us to be more productive with our tasks at hand.
Remembering that "tomorrow is mystery" and it is in the future is also beneficial because it means that we have no control and it leaves more room for us to deal with today. Choosing to live with this mentality encourages us to live in the present,  helps us do what we need to do today and  finish todays work today.  This way we become more productive and don't allow things to pile up.  Avoid  putting  off important  things for tomorrow because we know from our experience that tomorrow comes with its own challenges and opportunities.
So, we need to take advantage of today's gifts and make the most of our time now.
Some things we can do to remind us to live in the present include:
1. Deep breathing , stretching , tai-chi moves
2. Meditation: Washing our face, hands, feet
3. Journaling about what we're Grateful
4. Drawing , painting
5. Inspiration affirmations
Becoming more present and living life from that place is where blissfulness is found. There are so many benefits of living in the present.
1. When we live in the present we are more calm and clear in our thoughts and actions
2. We are more confident and live in peace
3. We are more patients with ourselves and others around us
4. We use time well and accomplish more.      5. We make more time for ourselves to relax
